Classic Biscuit Cake

Biscuitcake! At least that's how I call it. It's light, it's moist, it's everything you expext from a cake. OK cut the crap. It's just an ordinary biscuitcake. Nothing special: As my father (or brother) said today: What's so special about this? The answer is: NOTHING. You only need 4 ingrediënts. FOUR!

Flour - Eggs - Sugar - Cornstarch. (And some vanillasugar but that's no big deal).

Mini Apple Pies

First of all, sorry of the lack of updates.. Let's see, last time I posted something was LAST YEAR! Ok, it was in december but still last year! To tell you the reason why, it's because I'm in my senior year of high school and it has all been really hectic, 'cause I really want to go to college..

Cinnamon Cupcakes

Cinnamon cupcakes. There aren´t enough words to describe them. The surprise is that the outside is crunchy and the inside is soft and moist.  And they are really easy to make. These beauties can be eaten all year long. Well everything can be eaten all year long, but some spices or product don´t go well with the season. Like hot chocolate, most people only drink it during the winter, or eat fresh strawberries during the summer. About the hot chocolate, I always drink hot chocolate. Doesn´t matter if it´s summer, fall, winter or spring. You can wake me up at 2.00pm and I´m awake for some good hot chocolate :) But back to these cupcakes, what I´m trying to say is that no matter what season it is, they are good for all seasons.

Basic Cookies

I was 7 or 8, the night before it finally snowed after a few winters without it, and me and my brothers played in the snow and all of us were cold and wet. We went inside, put on our pajama´s and my mom made some hot chocolate milk. While we were heating up, we were baking cookies. That´s why I love to bake cookies. It reminds me of the good old times. And it´s one of the first things I ever baked! :) Back then we had cutters of cats, people, hearts, flowers and even houses. Nowadays I keep it simple. Maybe now and then some flowers.

Mozzarella Pizza's

You may think: 'Again pizza?'. Yes, again pizza. I'm in love with pizza, and can't stop making them. But must say that these looks good! But unfortunately I own a stone or something (my oven is too small :( ) but I use just anything that's round. But man, these pizza's were goooood! (No bragging here, but for real!) And I really don't use pizza sauce or anything for the basic sauce. I always use Heinz ketchup, cause if there's 1 thing I can't live without I won't say chocolate, no I say Heinz ketchup!

Mozzarella Pizza's

For the dough (2 pizza's):

1/4 teaspoon dried yeast
300 ml warm water
1/4 teaspoon salt
250 gr white bread flower
120 gr wheat flower

Sprinkle the yeast over the bowl with warm water, set it a side for about 5 min. Then put in the salt, and both flowers (about 120 gr a time). Mix it, and then switch to working the dough with your hands. Divided the dough into 2 balls. Put your balls in a bowl and grease the balls in with olive oil so the whole ball is covered. Cover the bowl up with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest on a warm place for about 2-3 hours. (If you make the dough a day before you can cover the bowl up with plastic foil and let it rest in the fridge. Take the dough an hour before baking out.)

Topping Mozzarella Pesto Pizza:

1 ball (100 gr.) mozzarella
1 tablespoon pesto
1 tomato
3-4 tablespoons Heinz tomato ketchup.

Grease the dough (once it's in the pan, or it has the right pizza size) with the ketchup. Then slice the tomato in nice thin slices and put them on your pizza. And do the same with the mozzarella. Then take your pesto and put that on the mozzarella. And there you go! (Super easy!)

Topping Pepperoni Mozzarella Pizza:

1 ball (100 gr.) mozzarella.
3-4 thin slices of pepperoni. (The size of the pepperoni was pretty large..)
1 tomato
3-4 tablespoons Heinz tomato ketchup.
And seasoning. (Salt, pepper, Italian herbs etc.)

This is the same process as the pizza above, but the mozzarella is not sliced in to slices, but into little cubes. And the slices of pepperoni too, and they're evenly spread over the pizza. And you can season the pizza if you want, I didn't do that this time.

Tip: for the pesto version you can also top it with some fresh basil!

Enjoy your easy but super delicious pizza's!
